Web Designer Introduction To Creative Suite 5
It’s that time again, when every web designer reaches for his pocket in preparation for the next generation of designer and developer tools! In just a few days time, Adobe will be unveiling its latest generation of the incredibly successful Creative Suite, now taking it into version CS5. Always being a highly anticipated product, the latest release of Creative Suite hails a range of new tools and capabilities for print and web designers all over the world.
So What Features Will CS5 Bring?
Creative Suite 5 promises to be as big a release as ever before, brining with it some great new capabilities. Amongst the most notable are Photoshop CS5’s new selections and warp tools, allowing easier than ever realistic manipulation of images. There is much talk of the “Content Aware Fill” tool, which seems to be an incredible new feature allowing content to fill set areas, without the repetition of patterns. This will easily allow you to take a selection of a background and have it fill a much larger area, without there being any obvious patterns or repeat marks. Dreamweaver will be getting new integration capabilities with Illustrator and Flash, allowing content to be placed inside Dreamweaver in a raw format – much like it possible with InDesign and Flash in CS4.  It’s seems that Adobe are focusing a lot of attention of mobile content, so there are likely to be a range of features covering Smartphone and tablet content production. There is also much talk of After Effects and Premier Pro joining Photoshop as 64 bit applications, allowing faster rendering, especially with high definition video. These are just a few hints that Adobe has released about CS5, most of it is still very much under wraps until the official unveiling in a few days time. You can find out more here and on the Official Adobe Site. One thing is certain, we can be sure to see some great new features that every designer will want to get their hands on as soon as it’s released!
